It was build from 1887 to 1889 by Gustave Eiffel & Cie for the 1889 Paris World Fair. It is in front of the “Champ de Mars” and next to the Seine. It is the 9th most visited place in the world and the 1st most visited paying place.
It measures 324 m. :

- The second floor is 149.23 m high.
- The third is 309.23 m high
- and the top is 324 m high
