The Two Lives of Miss Charlotte Merryweather

This book was written by Alexandra Potter in 2008.
The Two Lives of Miss Charlotte Merryweather is a book that I read and enjoy because it speaks of the past, of the present and of the future, that is to say that it makes us understand that the mistakes of the past build our present.
Here is the story : Charlotte Merryweather is 32 years old. She runs her own public relations firm, lives in an apartment in London, is dating Miles, a nice but boring boy. In a traffic jam, she notices an old beetle, decorated exactly like the one she was driving 10 years ago. Stunned, she decided to follow it... and recognizes herself driving 10 years ago. Rounder, dressed as a bag, visibly happy and carefree. Charlotte sympathizes with this version of herself. But she hasn’t got the miraculous recipe for happiness and the unknown is full of surprises.
This book is easy to read, funny, but mostly, it makes us wonder « what about our lives? » Always make good decisions because ultimately we learn by our mistakes and it is better to live than to regret.
