The Armistice of 1918

It was signed on the 11 November 1918 in the wagon of a train in the Compiègne forest.
It served to stop the first World war.
After this day, to pay a tribute to all soldiers and to celebrate the end of the war, this day is a holiday. This year, we celebrate the 93rd year !
