The Christmas tree is always a top sale for Christmas in France!

Six million Christmas trees were sold last year. The Christmas trees come from specific plantings. This disrupts ecology because producers use pesticides. But every other year, they plant cereals to avoid soil acidity. A producer uses sheep to eat grass around trees. Any way natural trees are less polluting than artificial ones that are not recyclable and imported from China.

A good place to be : Ile d’Yeu

The “Ile d’Yeu” is a French island situated in the department of Vendee. It is 9,875 km long and
3,750 large. It isn’t big : by bike, in one afternoon you can cycle all around. There are 5000 people who live there throughout the year. They are 17,5 km away from the continent, by boat it takes 30 minutes. I returned to it several times, I was at the lighthouse of "Pointe des Corbeaux". It’s so beautiful and the inhabitants are very kind .
