Aeromodelism

Aeromodelism is the building and use of small planes. To pilot it, we can buy or make a plane.

The plane contains a « brain », which is an engine, a battery and other pieces.

For a beginner we pilot the plane with an adult and two remote controls. So we learn doing bends, after we learn to land and take off. We can pass bronze wings, silver wings and gold wings.
There are special planes for the speed. The wings can measure about 3,50 meters long. The plane can go at about 150 km/h.

The guitar

I've practiced for five years.
I have an electric guitar and an acoustic guitar.
A guitar has six strings. My guitar teacher's name is Bruno. Rock’n’roll is my favorite style. For me the best guitar player is Joe Satriani.

I can play different music styles like: jazz, Irish music, metal and rock n' roll.
I have a band with my friends: Theo and Matteo.
I want to go to a concert of AC/DC, but they never go to Grenoble.

The League Of Legends

I love the League Of Legends. This is an online game and a free4play (free game).

In this game we have 5 categories :
- Support
- ADC (Attack Dammage Carry)
- AP (Attack Power)
- Jungler (makes the jungle for golems and monsters)
- Bruiser (it does damage and is resistant)
- Tank (it is resistant and it has a lot of health points)
The map is composed of 3 lanes and 2 jungles. Support and ADC go to the "bot"(bottom of the map = down) Bruiser or/and Tank go to the "top"(top of the map=up)
Jungler go in the jungle and ap mid go in the middle of the map.
The ADC is the most important player.

THE BIRTH OF NORTH WEST

North is the first child of Kim KARDASHIAN and of Kanye WEST. She delivered him in July, Kim has decided to settle down in PARIS to be quieter and without the paparazzis. At six months of pregnancy, she went to visit a maternity (hospital). When she arrived in Los Angeles to record her CD, she had some contractions. She called her mother. For the young woman the child birth was not surely. Kanye WEST and Kim KARDASHIAN would have refused three million dollars for the photo of their baby ! It’s quite a beautiful family!

KARATE

Hello !
My name is Coralie.
Today, I am going to speak about a sport that I have been practising now for eight years. This sport is Karate. Karate is a martial art, the technique is to attack or defend. By means of various parts of the body: finger (nukiter), open
hand (shuto), and close (tsuki), forearm (uke), elbow (enpi). There are two disciplines for competition: the kata and fight.
The kata is an imaginary fight, in this kata there are several techniques. In Karate there are twenty-six katas. In the kata competition five referees decide who the winner is.
The fight: it's fighting with an adversary, you have to use several techniques to manage to win. The fight lasts two minutes.
I've done competition for six years and I was qualified for the French championship.

One Direction

I am going to tell you about my idols, the « One Direction ». It's a group of five British young singers, one of them is Irish. A lot of people judge them without knowing their real story.

Everything started on July 23rd, 2010. Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik auditioned for X-FACTOR to begin a solo career but they were not selected to continue the adventure. They should have left the adventure but the jury chose to save some people of this audition. By chance they saved these five boys and decided to train them to form a group. They continued their adventure together until the finale and they lost the competition.

Thanks to their fans they released a song which is being a big success : « What makes you beautiful ». They released an album called « Up All Night » followed by a tour in the United Kingdom. Thanks to this album they are having a world wild success and released another album « Take Me Home » followed by a world tour ending very soon because they left Australia in order to make their last concert in Japan.

Finally, they released a new song named « Story of my life » on October 25^th 2013. Their third album « Midnight memories » will be released on November 25th 2013 and then, they will go on their second world tour. After that, that will be probably the end of the group and their fans called «Directioners » are very sad.

My cat Sweet

I will tell you the story of my cat:
I've got a cat. He is small and so cute. His name is Sweet. His colour is grey and he has got green eyes. He is two. He eats anything all the time and he kills animals.
One day, my neighbour's rabbit Pimpin disapeared and everybody accused my Sweet.
Finally, I found that Pimpin was dead. It's because he was old. I was so sorry that I bought three boxes of the cat food my cat prefers.
Afterwards, Sweet was very happy!  =)

The Heirs of Enkidiev

My favourite book is "The Heirs of Enkidiev". It is the sequel to the Knights of Emerald.

It's the story of magicians and their king is ill so they are going to visit a new world. In this world, there is a flower, and this flower can save their king. But people don't want to give this flower, so they must convince the king of these people, the Itzamans, to give this flower. When they are going to their world with the flower, they discover some of the humans are Gods but these humans don't know they are Gods and a war starts between the different Gods.
It's a book in twelve volumes.

The Axolotl

I love animals and I will present you one of them which is very strange. Its name is AXOLOTL. It eats small invertebrates (it aspires them with its big mouth ). It has got 4 legs and 6 gills. It is 25 cm long. It lives in Mexico. This amphibian spends its life like a larva but it can reproduce. It's in critical danger because the Mexicans catch it to eat it or make medicine with it. The pollution of Mexico and the destructor of its habitat risks to kill it. It is protected since 1975. It lives in the ecological park of Xochimilco in Mexico.

Temperatures near Grenoble

In France, in Grenoble, the temperature varies every season. In winter, it's cold, the temperature can go down to less than minus twenty, and in spring the temperature is mild. And in summer the temperature can be very hot to go up to forty : it is called heat wave, and in autumn the temperature can be cold. In France the sun is very present.
In Grenoble, our home, we have snow so we can ski. We are in a pretty country. It's a temperate climate, and we have a very good life.

I have played the drums for two years. Before I had played the electric and acoustic guitar for three years. My drums teacher's name is Christophe. My favorite style is rock. My favorite drummer is Phil Rudd, it's the drummer of ACDC. At the moment I play : “get lucky” by Daft Punk, “Back in black” by ACDC and “Black and White” by Michael Jackson. I have drums in my house. I have a band with friends of my class Théo and Alexis. In my band there are the drums and two guitars ... Roller hockey

Hello! My name is Theo. I live near Grenoble in France. I’m thirteen years old and every Friday evening, I play roller hockey with my friends. Roller hockey is very cool because there is a lot of speed and it’s very funny. Roller hockey consists of putting the puck in the cage. We play in teams. But it’s very dangerous because sometimes, there are a lot of fights and we fall and we hurt ourselves. To play roller hockey, we have got special equipment: a helmet, rollerblades, one hockey stick, one shell, shin and elbow pads. I hope you will like playing roller hockey.

It is an American series. The origin of the series is to be found in comics. There are three seasons of thirteen episodes. A fourth is in production.
The earth is invaded by zombies but we do not know why !
There is a little humans group who tries to survive.
They must hide because the zombies want to eat them and when the zombies bite them, the humans turn into living dead.
The heroes command the group.
I like this series because there is action and suspense. I like the hero because he is brave and he fights to defend the group.
I like the special effects too.

Pets

I chose the theme of pets because I like cats and dogs very much. Personally I have two female cats but no dog.

The first that my parents and I adopted is called « Désirée » and she was born in April 2008 and she has striped hair.

The second arrived in our house in April 2011 and she is called « Moustache ». She is black and white.

They spend all day hunting little birds and mice. They play in the garden with balls and with others cats. Before hunting, they sleep on the sofa or on the armchair. I like playing with them when I have finished my homework. My pets adore strokes and they like ham.

If it was possible I would adopt a male cat to see the difference with my female cats but my parents do not agree.

The quetzal

The quetzal is a bird which lives in Costa-Rica (Central America). It lives in the Amazonian forests. This bird has a green feathering and a bright red chest, except for the female. The female hasn't got a long tail and she hasn't got a red chest.

Each year, at the end of the building of the nest, the bird loses its feathers, which grow back the following year.

For the Mayas and the Aztecs, the quetzal was a sacred bird whose feathers were much sought-after.

The Quetzal is a mythical bird and the national bird of Guatemala. It is also represented on the coat of arms of the country.

Halloween

Halloween is on the 31st October: it's the night of ghosts and witches. Halloween is celebrated in England, in Ireland and in the U.S.A.

The colors for Halloween are black and orange. The houses are decorated with pumpkins switched on like a candle.

In the evening, children dress up with terrifying clothes as monsters, witches, skeletons, pumpkins, bats, ghosts, and as vampires...

They go for a walk in the streets and they go and ring at the door of the houses to ask adults for sweets, fruit or money with the expression "Trick or treat.".

I like Halloween because I like to eat sweets and I love to laugh with my friends.

It is a game with some cubes, you can explore the world. At night, there are some monsters and you can kill them, but they can kill you too.
You can mine and cut the wood to make some houses.
I really like this game because it´s funny and cool.
I often play with this game at weekends and in the evening.
I create a new world with animals, pigs, cows, chickens, horses, sheep.
In this world there are some flowers and trees, there are monsters and gold in caves.
You can dig to find gold and diamond to create a protection against monsters.

The Monaco Grand Prix

The Monaco Grand Prix was invented in 1929. The competitors have to make 260 Km to finish the race. Last year's winner is Called Mark Webber, he won in 1 hour and 46 min. I watch him every time he is on television because I love car races because they are very good, the cars go very fast! It's very exciting. We wait until they face an accident; it's very funny for us but for them it's less funny ! I am very impatient to see the next Monaco Grand Prix !

Tal's family immigrated to France when Tal was just under one year old. Her name can be translated roughly as "morning dew" in Hebreu. She was born in a real musical home.
