Andrew Stephen RODDICK alias Andy RODDICK is the best American tennis player of the 2000s. He was born on August 30th 1986 in Omaha (USA).Brought up in a middle class family, his father John is a businessman and his mother is a primary school teacher.
He moved first to Florida then to Texas.
He began his professional career in 2001 when he entered the world top 20. He was the youngest boy of the tennis championship.
In 2003, he became the World Number 1. He is known for his "service" for which he holds a speed record of 249,4 km/h (155 mph).
