The Jackson 5 was an American soul band native of Gary, Indiana, near Chicago. It consisted of five members of the same sibship: Jackie, Toriano a.k.a. Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael. In 1976, the sibship left Motown for CBS and the youngest person, Randy, entered the group when his brother Jermaine preferred to stay within Motown.
