It's a national holiday in Ireland. It takes place on 17th March.Many people go to a parade, they eat and drink a lot of Irish specialties (in particular alcoholic drinks). And the beer flows constantly. Everybody dresses in green and carries a clover.
They do that in the honor of St Patrick, a missionary who converted Ireland to Christianity and to celebrate the Irish culture.
I think it is a fun party.
