Motocross
is an extreme sport of motorcycle competition consisting of a speed
race on a rough terrain circuit. The first motocross event took
place in England in 1924. The sport then expanded considerably in
Great Britain, then in Belgium and France.
This sport is practiced on a cross-country motorcycle that is not accredited and prepared to resist the various shocks and to adapt to the rugged terrain and difficult surfaces that the circuit will present.
This sport has like other sports its own champions : Stefan Everts was ten times world champion, and he is the most emblematic personality of this discipline.
